иконописBecause I don’t have the energy for a long post, here is my birthday weekend wrapped up in pictures.

Breakfast and my favorite place with my mom, Cameron, Ben and Cassidy. Eggs Alexandria and Los Gatos Cafe.

My new Emeril copper bottom cookware from Cassidy and Ben. Even more special than the fact that I’ve wanted these FOREVER, is that Cassidy was so proud to give them to me after chipping in her own money.

My big present from Ben. YOU GUYS, I have wanted an over the range microwave FOREVER. We have a countertop microwave and it takes up so much room and I hate that something we use MAYBE once a week takes up so much room. It gets installed next Saturday. WOOHOO! Thanks so much, honey!

Cake NOMS!

Got all dressed up for a fancy pants dinner with my mom, Cameron, Ben and Cassidy at Shoadowbrook. It’s one of my top five meals of all time. FOR SERIOUS.

My extraordinarily handsome husband got dressed up too. <3

It was a beautiful day. Good food, my awesome family and some pretty amazing gifts.

TWELVE.

Cassidy turned 12 today. I can’t believe that my baby has one year left till she’s an official TEENAGER.

HELP!

We had a pretty kick back day of pizza and homemade pineapple upside down cake with some friends that came over. She originally asked for Reid Family Tacosâ„¢ but then decided to have them on Friday when she had her Birthday Sleepover Extravaganza instead. She also wants enchiladas. And Aebleskivers for breakfast. And bacon. Girl likes her food.

I think her most favorite gift so far is a pajama set that my dad and step-mom got her with a shirt that says “If you knew my mom you’d understand”.

Seriously.

My PARENTS gave her that. I looked past the back handed burn and think it’s actually KIND OF funny. Of course, Ben and Cassidy both think it’s REALLY HILARIOUS.

This evening after I had the put the cake into the oven she plopped herself onto the counter and started cleaning out the batter bowl. For a split second she was four again and had those adorable little curls and no front teeth… and then she burped loud enough to shake the pictures off the walls and BAM! Back to tween.

And I have to admit, I kind of like the tween.

20 year old interview.

My little brother turned 20 years old yesterday so I decided to do an interview while we were at Olive Garden eating dinner.

For the record I hardly EVER swear in front of my mom. Seriously.
