Okay! Did a lot more work to the site today. Still have a ways to go but it’s a huge improvement even from yesterday. It’s really beginning to grow on me!

Friday Five… Only one day late this time!!

1. How are you planning to spend the summer [winter]?
Moving, aparently. Which I think is okay because once I’m moved I know it will be the best summer I’ve ever had.

2. What was your first summer job?
Ummmm… I never really had a summer job. I started working when I was 18 and never stopped. I did have a Christmas job. I wrapped presents for a mens shop here in town.

3. If you could go anywhere this summer [winter], where would you go?
Mackinac Island with Ben and Cassidy. That would be the best vacation I could think of.

4. What was your worst vacation ever?
I honestly have NEVER had a bad vacation. Make the best of what you have. If you do that, no vacation can truely be ‘bad’.

5. What was your best vacation ever?
That’s a hard question. I’ve been across the United States… literally. Niagra Falls was awsome, Disney World ROCKED, North Carolina every year was always SO much fun… If I had to choose ONE trip, I’d say it was to Mackinac Island. If I was only able to go on one vacation again for the rest of my life it would be to there.

My little brother is a dork. He’s grown his hair out and it’s WAY curley. He says this is the newest fashion and that by not liking it, in reality, I am the dork. I think he’s wrong.

Here is his freak cat, Dip. He always hides under the table in the study. Once a week Cameron thinks it’s necessary to pull him out and terrorize him for about 10 minutes. Right after this picture was taken he scrached Cameron all to heck and ran back to his room and the saftey of his little table.

Flu’s and News!!

Cassidy is sick… again. She used to NEVER get sick and for some reason the last few months it’s like she just can’t get over this… whatever it is. She’s had a fever and been all lethargic for the last two days. She’s not sleeping at night so that means neither am I. She’s hardly eating. Well, she has finished off over a box of popsicles. Hopefully she gets over this soon becuase I’m needing a good nights sleep.

*sigh*

In other news, a friend is pregnant. Don’t want to say who because I don’t know if she wants the whole world to know yet. But you know who you are… CONGRATS AGAIN!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

So, I finished the book night before last.

This one started out a little different than the rest of the Harry books. It moved a little slower than I liked. They had a lot to explain but I think that we could have done without the pages of cleaning up Sirius’s house and whatnot.

Harry’s character was MUCH more… angry and moody. I didn’t like that at all. I mean, yeah, he’s had a tough life but it made it hard to sympathize with him when he’s in such a foul mood all the time.

Other than those two aspects I liked the book. The ending where Dumbledor explains to Harry why he didn’t tell him of the prophesy from the very beginning explains a lot. And also why he was so adament about keeping Trewlany there and why she was so scared to leave. It will be interesting to see where they go from here with Harry now knowing that either he is going to kill Voldermort or vise-versa. Will he seek V. out? Will he let V. come to him? Will anybody else close to Harry have to die in the process? I also think that Rowling is not done with Luna. I have a feeling she will play an important role somewhere down the line.

Friday Five… Two days late.

1. Is your hair naturally curly, wavy, or straight? Long or short?
My hair is naturally straight except for a one inch section on the back of my head that seems to have gotten wavy in the last few year. It’s loooooooooooong. Way too long in fact. Since this picture was taken it’s grown about another 4 inches…

2. How has your hair changed over your lifetime?
Well, in highschool I had a perm… When that kinda grew out I chopped it off to shoulder length… Let it grow WAY back out again then right after I had Cassidy I cut it short again… Now it’s back to long, long, long.

3. How do your normally wear your hair?
Down and straight or up in a ponytail. Sometimes I curl it but now it’s just too long to bother with.

4. If you could change your hair this minute, what would it look like?
Shorter. I’d get about 8 inches cut off and dyed to a light brown. As soon as I have the money I’m going to get both done.

5. Ever had a hair disaster? What happened?
Not really. My hair is so thick that there’s not a lot of optional do’s I can have.
