August 30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 4

Favorite color.

This was an intersting dilemma for me because my favorite color really depends on what you’re asking me about.

Clothes? I love black and gray, then accessorizing with bright pops of color. I want either muted, or LOUD. So I either have a on a black top or HOT PINK or NEON YELLOW.

For the home? I love green or yellow walls because they are neutral and easy to accessorize. But my dream house would have neutral walls with LOUD, BRIGHT, OBNOXIOUS accent walls. Ben and I have COMPLETELY conflicting opinions on this though.

Cars? White. I never thought I liked white cars but when we started shopping for an M3 for me, I fell in love with my Alpine white M3 and now I really love white cars.

But, if you ask my husband or daughter, the clear winner in the favorite color category for me is: PINK!

I remember getting REALLY EXCITED when electronics manufactures realized that there were actually GIRL GEEKS out there and started catering to our wants too. I still remember seeing my first pink digital camera and laptop. SMITTEN.

This is the stuff I carry around on a daily basis.

August 30 Day Photo Challenge

I’ve decided to do the August 30 Day Photo Challenge. And I don’t mean to be nitpicky but there are 31 days in August so it just feels so unbalanced to me! Like, what about the 31st? It’s just going to be left out, cold and alone and sad.

So I’m going to start on the second instead so that all month long my numbers will be off. Like today yesterday is was the 2nd and I’m posting picture #1 which actually makes my brain shudder. And it’s only the first day. By the 31st I’m going to be having all out cold sweats and talking in strange run on sentences.

So technically you won’t notice anything different.

OH! And also, I’m back dating this blog post to yesterday, the 1st, so that it makes some kind of sense. Order wise.

So I’m cheating already.

Friday Five: Unreasonable

FRIDAY FIVE! Go do it, yo!

1. What’s something you have an unreasonable fear of?
Death. Very, very unreasonable. I don’t like the finality of it. And also, what if I’m in the middle of a TV series? I have this irrational need to know how things end.

2. What’s something you have an unreasonable fondness for?
Chocolate. It’s criminal.

3. What’s something you have an unreasonable disliking for?
People touching me. DO. NOT. WANT. When people talk to you and, like, grab your arm or brush against you in a crowd, it makes me almost physically ill. Like, vomity.

4. Who’s most likely to bring out the unreasonable in you?
Bad drivers. How hard is it to use a damn turn signal, people!?

5. Who’s the least unreasonable person you know?
Ben. Hands down. That man is easily the most level headed, reasonable person I know which is great because it balances out my extreme unreasonable-ality-ness.

I just made that word up. #WINNING

Friday Five: Condiments

This Last week’s Friday Five just seemed odd and yet worthy of posting. Because odd is what I do best.

1) What’s something that demands ketchup?
I guess french fries although I prefer mustard with most sides like french fries and onion rings and even on my hot dogs. I can do without the ketchup but DON’T FORGET THE MUSTARD. And onion. And relish. KTHXBYE!

2) What’s the best thing to do with the leftover packets of cheese and red-pepper flakes you get with pizza delivery?
Throw them away. I totally just did that about a month ago. We had YEARS worth of that crap taking up an entire drawer in our kitchen… one that had moved from the last house to this one. Finally I was like ENOUGH OF THIS when I opened it and was physically attaced by some Taco Bell hot sauce. We haven’t had Taco Bell in probably over a year. Shit had to go.

3) What’s something (besides salad) that’s good with salad dressing?
Italian or sesame dressing make excellent chicken marinades.

4) What’s a condiment you’re especially brand-loyal to?
I’m not really brand loyal with condiments. I love to try new things so I’m always grabbing a different brand or flavor combo. With things like mustard? Well, yellow mustard is pretty standard and hard to screw up.

I take that back! Woeber’s makes the BEST horseradish sauce EVER.

5) What’s the weirdest use of condiments you’ve seen by other people?
Mayonnaise as a dip for ANYTHING (like french fries). *barf*

Also, yew I realize it’s Wednesday but it’s a four day week so it’s really like my Thursday which is one day before Friday so I’m really only one day early. Or five days late since it was last week’s FF. Or I’m crazy and you can just read it and stop judging me! SHEESH!
